Airbus has applied the colours of A380 launch operator Singapore Airlines (SIA) to one of its development aircraft (MSN004), which departed Toulouse earlier today for the Asian Aerospace air show in Singapore (pictured below).

The aircraft, which was recently deployed to Iqaluit, Canada, to undertake cold weather trials, is scheduled to land at Singapore’s Changi airport at 06:30 tomorrow. SIA says the aircraft is most likely to land on one of Changi’s northerly runways (02L or 02R), after which the aircraft will taxi to a parking position on the cargo apron on the northern side of the airfield.
The arrival will mark the second visit by the A380 to Singapore, as the city state was the first stop on the ultra-large aircraft’s Asia-Pacific tour in November last year. The aircraft will take part in the daily flying display dueing Asian Aerospace, which runs from 21-26 February.
Airbus released several photos of the aircraft after completing the livery work, in its hangars in Toulouse and waiting to take off at the abrevoir flight test centre building (below).
