A pilot whose helicopter dropped a concrete block on a cable car in Austria has been charged with negligence. Nine tourists died in the incident last September. The helicopter was carrying material to a mountaintop construction site when the mechanical hook dropped the 750kg (1,650lb) block from 1,000ft (300m) on to the ski lift near the resort of Soelden.
