Commissioned to create 12 sculptures of famous pilots for a Russian garden commemorating legendary French airman and author Antoine de Saint-Exupery, he's here in search of inspiration. And he's soaking it up by creating clay models at the show that he will use as the basis of the definitive works in bronze. Sculpture subjects include glider pioneer Otto Lilienthal and Charles Lindbergh, who touched down at Le Bourget after completing the world's first solo transatlantic flight. "Most people only ever see art in its completed form," says Jean-Marc. "I want them to be able to watch the transformation," he says.
