Flight International this week launches one of the most powerful aviation information resources on the internet when it makes the full content of the magazine available free of charge.

The website at www.flightinternational.com now contains the content of the current issue as soon as it is published along with nine years of searchable archives - accessible by everyone.

Flight's sister magazine Airline Business also appears on the site, and so will web-only content - shortly to include daily news updates.

During the Paris airshow, and at future shows, all the stories from Flight Daily News will be on the site, allowing non-attendees to follow the events from a distance.

Job-seekers will still be able to access Flight's market-leading range of aerospace vacancies - entirely for free.

In the next few weeks further functionality will be added, extending the range of information available and also making for a more engaging web experience.

Subscribers to Flight Group's premium news service Air Transport Intelligence should continue to access its exclusive content at www.rati.com.

Group editor Kieran Daly says: "As the internet has evolved it has become clear that free web access is a natural complement to printed magazines. They really serve different purposes in different circumstances.

"Flight Group has consistently led the aviation media in online innovation and it is only natural that we are the first major publication to pioneer free access."
