The Ilyushin design bureau and Pratt & Whitney Canada finalised negotiations for a PW127F-powered version of the Il-114 turboprop on the opening day of the show. The Western-engined version, which is intended to be offered alongside the Klimov TV7-117-powered model, will have its maiden flight in 1998. Passenger and freighter versions have been developed.
