Precision Castparts of the USA has signed three-year agreements with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Nagoya Guidance and Propulsion Systems Works to manufacture structural and airfoil castings for the Pratt & Whitney PW4000, PW4084, PW4090, PW4098, PW4168, and International Aero Engines V2500 powerplants, with a potential value of more than $37 million.

PCC Structurals of Portland, Oregon, will cast the tangential on-board-injector ducts for the combustors of the PW4000, PW4084, PW4090 and PW4168, and will manufacture PW4000 and V2500 burner domes. PCC Airfoils of Beachwood, Ohio, will manufacture blades and vanes for the PW4090 and PW4098.
