Eclipse Aviation has increased the price tag of its Eclipse 500 very light jet for new orders from $1.18 million to $1.3 million. Eclipse says since the aircraft price was set in January 2003, production costs have risen in two key areas – energy-based raw materials and supplier costs caused by engine-driven Eclipse 500 design improvements.
