ICBC Leasing has committed to another 55 Comac C919 narrowbodies, making it the Chinese manufacturer's largest customer.
The framework purchase agreement, signed on 5 December in Beijing, brings the lessor's commitment for C919s to 100.
It first signed for 45 of the in-development Chinese narrowbody in 2011. In 2015, it also signed for 30 ARJ21 regional jets.
The boost from ICBC Leasing brings the total number of commitments for the C919 to 785.
The aircraft took its first flight on 5 May and is targeting certification around 2020-2021.
