Sir - In my letter "Reflecting the true costs of airport modifications", the paragraph beginning: "The survey assumed as a baseline-" was incorrectly edited. It should have continued: "-Boeing 747 stretch aircraft would have a smaller wingspan, and probably slightly greater length. On its own, this might produce lower costs for airports. In contrast, if the Airbus A3XX is also built, this is expected to have a similar wingspan-"
