Qatar Airways has closed a sale-and-leaseback for five Airbus A350-900s with GECAS.
The deal covers A350s with MSNs 021, 025, 036, 047 and 076, a spokesman for the Connecticut-based lessor says.
Qatar took delivery of MSNs 021 and 025 in July and August and is scheduled to take 036, 047 and 076 before year-end, the Flight Fleets Analyzer shows.
The Doha-based carrier operates 10 A350-900s with seven under sale-and-leasebacks with GECAS, the data shows. It will take eight more aircraft through the end of the year.
