This is a sight EBACE attendees will not be able to see here, following the
organisers’ decision to order Bookajet.com’s cabin crew girls to don
conventional business attire.

“The organisers weren’t entirely happy with the results of ourpromotional efforts,” says sales and marketing manager Paul Mansfield.

“They reminded us of the dress code and say this isn’t something CEOs and
high net worthindividuals want to see at the event. Our feedback is the exact opposite.”

Meanwhile, the company has added two more aircraft to its fleet in the last month, bringing the total number of jets it manages to nine. The company has added a second Beechcraft Premier I and a Cessna Citation Sovereign to the fleet in April.

“We’re taking more and more deliveries,” says Mansfield. “The latest is the Citation Sovereign, which is one of, if not the, first in Europe.”

The nine-seat mid-size Citation is owned by a Scandinavian corporation and is operated by European Flight Service (EFS), while Bookajet.com deals with the management side.

As well as the two new jets, the fleet includes another Premier I, two Gulfstream 550s, a Citation XLS, two Citation Excels and a Citation VII.

Based in Farnborough, UK, the charter and management company has operated under the Bookajet.com brand for the last three years. It manages and operates private owner aircraft, for a predominantly European clientele.

“We have lots of bookings on the aircraft at the moment,” says Mansfield. “It’s getting busier and busier and they are flying virtually all the time.”
