Rolls-Royce has signed a contract with Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering (HAECO) to establish its previously announced 50/50 joint venture Hong Kong Aero Engine Services (HAESL). The engine overhaul company is scheduled to open in January 1997, with the completion of a 580kN (130,000lb) test cell now being built at Tseung Kwan O.
