The Rocsat1 communications satellite, built by TRW Space and Electronics, has been delivered to Taiwan's Hsinchu science centre in preparation for its launch by a Lockheed Martin Launch Vehicle 1 in 1998. The Rocsat is the first of three communications satellites planned by Taiwan's Science Council for launches up to 2006.
