Augsburg Airways is extending its London City-Münster/ Osnabrück service to include an onward connection to Nüremburg. US charter company flightserv.com has signed a $7.5 million contract with Casino Express Airlines to charter a Memphis, Tennessee-based Boe-ing 737-200 to provide air lift for casinos in Mississippi, plus weekly flights to Cancun, Mexico, for tour operator Vacation Express. Malaysia Airlines' cargo subsidiary MASkargo is setting up a regional hub at Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. Until now MASkargo has operated cargo flights between Kuala Lumpur and European destinations via Dubai, using Boeing 747-200Fs, but by mid-2001 it will have set up its regional head-quarters in Sharjah. Dutch regional KLMexel will start daily services from Maastricht to Milan Malpensa on 6 November. Midway Airlines will inaugurate services between Raleigh-Durham and Pittsburgh in December. Air Canada has launched daily Airbus A319 service between New York Kennedy and Vancouver. Qantas is introducing code share flights with Air Tahiti Nui, on three weekly services between Papeete and Los Angeles. Trans World Airlines is to cease all services to Italy, with plans to end flights to Milan Malpensa in January. The airline has signed up American Eagle to replace Trans States Airlines as its regional partner at New York Kennedy. Eagle will phase in Trans World Connection (TWC) services to nine new and five existing markets beginning on 2 December. Trans States will phase out all TWC operations at JFK by 5 January. China Southern Airlines has launched three weekly services between Guangzhou and Singapore via Hong Kong - and three flights a week from Guangzhou to Kuala Lumpur via Bangkok. It has stopped its three weekly direct Guangzhou-Bangkok flights. TAG City Air has launched a five-times-weekly service between Paderborn, Germany, and Poznan, Poland, via Dresden.
