Airbus Industrie and the Russian Ministry of Economics have signed an agreement which envisages closer cooperation in areas such as joint projects, certification, R&D and production. The deal includes Airbus' assistance in obtaining JAA type certification for the Tu-204 and the establishment of a single Russian management organisation to liaise with Airbus on the A3XX.
