Revamped Rwandan national carrier Rwandair Express has introduced an ex-Maersk Air Boeing 737-500 on a one-year wet lease from UK-based Aircraft Marketing Services. The aircraft arrived at Kigali International Airport on 10 April, and, according to Rwandair chief executive Francis Mugisha, the 737 will initially be operated on services to Entebbe, Johannesburg and Nairobi. Flights to Dubai and Kilimanjaro in Tanzania will be launched later.
