One of Ryanair's Boeing 737-800s has been diverted to East Midlands airport after departing London Stansted, with initial indications that it lost a wheel on take-off.
The aircraft had been bound for Copenhagen on 15 September.
East Midlands airport's operator confirms that the aircraft had a "technical problem", but has yet to disclose further details.
It adds that the aircraft has landed safely.
FlightGlobal has received information from air traffic control sources that a nose-wheel was located in the vicinity of Stansted's runway 22.
Preliminary data, still unconfirmed, points to the aircraft involved being EI-DLV, which Flight Fleets Analyzer lists as an 11-year old airframe.
