Russia’s S7 Airlines has generated a half-year pre-tax profit of Rb491 million ($7.6 million), an increase of more than 60%.
The carrier disclosed the figures in a second-quarter financial statement.
Federal air transport regulator Rosaviatsia statistics show S7’s passenger traffic over the first six months of the year rose by 17%.
Passenger load factor for the airline increased by seven points to 82.5%.
Oneworld alliance member S7 Airlines says that revenues for the half-year were up by 13.5% to Rb44.4 billion, although cost of sales rose 37% to nearly Rb41 billion.
