British Airways flights have been disrupted at London today due to a systems failure, the airline has confirmed..
The Oneworld member says "a number" of its flights have been cancelled and delayed as a result of an outage which is affecting multiple systems.
BA is meanwhile working with manual back-up systems.
Flights at all three London airports from which the IAG-owned carrier operates – Heathrow, Gatwick and London City – are affected by the failure.
BA says a number of flights are still operating. The disruption appears to affect short-haul services in particular.
The airline has apologised to customers and says: "We are working as quickly as possible to resolve a systems issue."
Travellers have been asked to seek information before coming to the airport and leave extra time before departure.
"We are offering customers booked to travel on short-haul services… the opportunity to rebook to another travel day," BA adds.
