In an article quoting Pat Shanahan of Boeing Commerical Airplanes in our 27 May-2 June issue, we wrongly said that Sagem Defense Securite was responsible for failing to deliver the electrical brake actuator controller (EBAC) on the 787. Shanahan was actually referring to the brake control monitoring system, which the French company does not supply. Boeing has made it clear that there are no problems with the Sagem EBAC, or with the rest of the electrical brakes system supplied by Messier-Bugatti. We are happy to set the record straight.
