Shanghai Sikorsky Aircraft has sold two Schweizer 300C piston helicopters to Pianjin Aviation University. The university, which already trains air traffic controllers, will use the helicopters to set up a pilot training programme for Chinese and overseas students. Shanghai Sikorsky, a Chinese joint venture company established last year by Shanghai Little Eagle Science and Technology and Sikorsky to build Schweizer helicopters for the Chinese market, will deliver the two aircraft in December.
