The first commercial payload aboard the Boeing-led Sea Launch's Zenit 3SL booster - set for August - will be the Hughes-built DirecTV-1R, HS 601 HP spacecraft. The launch will be made from the Sea Launch offshore platform at 154º on the Equator in the Pacific Ocean. Sea Launch has 14 more commitments for Hughes and Loral satellites on its manifest.
