Belgium's Masquito Aircraft has assembled its second M80 light helicopter prototype in preparation for ground testing at the end of this month.

According to the manufacturer, the test aircraft has a longer, wider and higher cabin than the first prototype, which made its public debut in July. The cabin houses reclining seats for the pilot and a passenger.

Masquito has also replaced the radial cooling fan and de-clutchable V-belts with a combined unit on the front side of the engine.

The two-seat ultralight M80 helicopter is a re-engined version of the company's earlier model, the M58.
