SES Global is cancelling orders for two communications satellites, GE 3i and GE 4i, being built by Alcatel Space. The move, which comes after the earlier cancellation of another two Alcatel Space satellites, follows the merger of SES and GE Americom last year. SES Global has ordered a new satellite to be designated AMC 23.
