Singapore Airlines plans to operate Airbus A380 aircraft on its Singapore-Zurich route, replacing the carrier's Boeing 777-300ERs.
From 28 March, a daily A380 service will replace the 12-times-weekly 777-300ER service, says the Star Alliance carrier.
"Zurich will be the third city in Europe and the seventh in the SIA network to receive the A380," it adds.
SIA has no competitors on the Zurich route, according to Innovata. This route mostly caters to business travellers.
