The German optronics company Zeiss-Eltro Optronic (ZEO) is setting its sights on success in Hall 2C E/23.
Among other things, the firm is showing its new Airborne Targeting and Navigation Pod called Litening. The low-cost, high-performance multisensor Laser Designator Pod is designed for day and night air-to-ground attack missions.
Spokesman Bernd Uhl says: "Litening's targeting potential enables air crews to detect, identify, track and destroy tactical targets.
"Due to the concept of using CCD cameras and a FLIR sensor, this task can be performed 24 hours a day. The navigation FOV of the FLIR enables the pilot to perform low level flying at night."
