Orlando-based SimCom has a special incentive for visitors to its booth (3234) at NBAA to hear more about the introduction of a new CitationJet simulator.

The Level C simulator will be available in the second quarter of 2006. The six-axis, full-motion simulator was developed by SimCom, and is equipped with a four-channel wide visual display, which provides a high degree of realism. The instrument panel features a two-tube Honeywell electronic flight instrumentation system (EFIS). A GNS-XLS flight-management system will also be installed. An on-board instructor operating station enables the instructor to simulate a complete range of training scenarios including normal, abnormal and emergency operating procedures.  Five specialized courses will be offered, including Captain Initial, SIC Initial, Recurrent, Advanced Recurrent and Upgrade.

Approved

The CitationJet joins SimCom’s fleet of business jet simulators. These comprise the Learjet 35, Citation II and Hawker 800A, all of which are Level C qualified by the Federal Aviation Administration and provide Part 142 approved training.
Visitors to the booth will receive details on how to win a complimentary CitationJet Recurrent Training course valued at $8,140. “While attending NBAA, we are encouraging current and prospective CitationJet operators to tour our Orlando center and register for a free Recurrent course.  Qualified registrants will have an opportunity to see the state-of-the-art simulator as well as sample the associated training courseware,” says Tracy Brannon, SimCom Training Center’s managing director.
SimCom is the Business and General Aviation division of Pan Am International Flight Academy (PAIFA).
