Bell Helicopter is in discussions with overseas countries about the Bell Boeing V-22 Osprey tiltrotor.
"I wouldn't say they are active campaigns, but they are active discussions," says Bell president and chief executive John Garrison. He declines to name the countries, except to say they are in Asia Pacific, the Middle East and Europe.
Garrison says Bell expects revenues to increase 15% this year. "We expect flat deliveries year-on-year [in terms of commercial helicopters], with the exception of Asia, where we will see some growth," he says.
Military sector growth is expected to swell the company's overall revenues as Bell ramps up production of military craft such as the V-22, he adds.

At the Singapore air show Bell is promoting its newest commercial helicopter, the Bell 429, which after the show will undertake a tour of India, Bell's second largest commercial market after Japan.
Garrison says "we are seeing growth in the oil and gas sectors as well as on-shore logistics" as Indian companies turn to helicopters to overcome the county's infrastructure constraints.
