Triumph Actuation Systems have appointed Singapore-based ST Aerospace (ST Aero) as an authorised service centre for the repair and overhaul of Airbus A320 power transfer units.
The two companies signed a three-year deal, with an option for renewal for an additional three years. Triumph manufactures, designs and repairs hydraulic and hydro-mechanical aircraft components and systems.
"The combination of Triumph's expertise as the original equipment manufacturer of the PTU and the outstanding repair and overhaul capabilities of ST Aerospace forms an excellent partnership for supporting A320 operators in the Asian market," says Rick Reed, president, Triumph Actuation Systems.
ST Aero says that the agreement is part of its plan to partner original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to increase the value it brings to its customers. "As an authorised service centre, we continue to provide a complete repertoire of MRO services for various aircraft components," says its president Tay Kok Khiang.
