Singapore's Tiger Airways has appointed a new chairman and three independent directors to its board
Gerard Ee is the new chairman, says the low-cost carrier.
Ee has a background in auditing, and was an audit partner at Ernest & Young, adds Tiger.
The airline has also appointed Po'ad Bin Shaik Abu Bakar Mattar, Rachel Eng and Yap Chee Keong to its board.
Mattar was a senior partner in Deloitte & Touche, Eng is a partner in law firm WongPartnership, and Yap is the chairman of the airline's remuneration committee, says Tiger.
The four appointees replace the board's former chairman, Daniel Ee, and three former directors who have retired, it adds.
"We are confident that these appointments will further strengthen the Tiger Airways board," says Tiger's CEO Tony Davis.
