Six Boeing 787s have been struck from the airframer's order book, although the manufacturer has not disclosed the identity of the customer cancelling the twinjets.
The latest backlog figures from Boeing, which include the large 737-900ER order for 100 aircraft from Delta Air Lines, also confirm the loss of half a dozen 787s.
At the end of July the airframer had a backlog of 827 787s. The latest cancellation, which brings the net reduction in 787 orders this year to 26, would take the figure down to 821.
In addition to the Delta 737s, Boeing booked orders for two 777s from an unidentified customer.
Boeing has secured overall gross orders for 472 aircraft during 2011, including 344 737s, with adjustments resulting in a net order total of 370.
