Bournemouth Aviation has equipped the first Airbus A330 operated by a European carrier to receive its Skycam Flight Deck Door Monitoring System. The system, which is already available on the A320 family, BAe 146/Avro RJs, Boeing 737/757s and Bombardier CRJs, is installed in the flightdeck and enables the crew to view the area outside the cockpit, the rest of the cabin and cargo holds. The system is combined with a solid-state recorder for use in air-rage incidents and cargo-handling disputes.
