Flights to and from airports in south-east England were delayed on the night of 20-21 March due to a "routine" software upload at the new London Area and Terminal Control Centre, according to National Air Traffic Services (NATS). Flow restrictions were in force from 21.00 to 01.45, says NATS, adding that delays were "slight". London Heathrow Airport's biggest user, British Airways, says disruption was "not too bad", although a flight to Kuwait was delayed by 2h 5min.
