A Saab 340 turboprop operated by Argentinian carrier Sol Lineas Aereas has been reported missing, with reports indicating that it had crashed.
The aircraft was operating from Neuquen to Comodoro Rivadavia when it declared an emergency at 20:50, said the airline. No further communication was received from the aircraft.
There were 19 passengers and three crew members on board, it added. Reports said the aircraft had crashed in southern Argentina.
The aircraft had departed Neuquen for its destination at 20:08, said the carrier. It was operating on the last leg of a multi-sector flight that had originated in Cordoba, it added.
