The Farnborough Enterprise Hub - the first of its kind in the UK to focus on the aerospace and defence sector - will be launched today at the show. The Hub is designed as "the focus for bringing aerospace-related business into the South-east of England," says Sir Donald Spiers, former UK defence ministry Controller of Aircraft and current chairman of the Farnborough Aerospace Consortium.
"Behind this new venture are key players who are convinced that there are great opportunities for British business in the defence and aerospace sector."
Sir Donald officially launches the Hub at noon at the FAC/South East England Development Agency (SEEDA) stand (UK Village, Hall 4, E12) ). He will be joined by SEEDA chairman James Brathwaite.
