Colin Hobbs has been named managing director of BAA's Southampton International Airport in the UK, with effect from 19 August. He worked for UK airports operator BAA for ten years and is a former director of marketing and external relations for London Stansted Airport. He was most recently managing director of the London Tourist Board and Convention Bureau, on secondment from BAA. He takes over from Paul Barlow, who becomes managing director of Glasgow Airport, in Scotland.
