Maintenance firm SR Technics is to offer retrofit of sharklet wing-tips on Airbus A320-family aircraft from next year.
It says it will initially provide the service for A319s and A320s.
Modification will be carried out at the company's facilities in Zurich or Malta.
SR Technics president André Wall says the retrofit programme is "of growing importance" to operators looking to reduce fuel-burn on the twinjet type.
"It is therefore only natural that we explore and develop new capabilities as customer needs arise," he adds.
