ST Aerospace Engineering, a subsidiary of ST Aerospace, has injected $1.44 million capital into ST Aerospace Academy (STAA).
The capital injection will allow STAA to upgrade its flight training capacity and capabilities. Part of the capital injection will be used to equip its new flight operations centre in Australia's Ballarat airport, says ST Aerospace.
The flight operations centre will have a new aircraft apron that can accommodate up to 40 training aircraft. STAA also plans to acquire a PA44 Seminole full flight simulator later this year.
STAA also expects to train 200 commercial pilot cadets by the end of this year, adds ST Aerospace.
