Canadian company Standard Aero has been awarded a contract to provide engine repair and overhaul for the 330 C-12 Beechcraft KingAir 200s operated by US tri-services throughout the world.

It has also won a contract to service propellers in use by the Canadian Armed Forces. The company also performs similar work for the armed services in Denmark, Norway, Colombia, UAE, Jordan and Egypt and commercial aircraft operators including Kelowna Flightcraft in Canada and Air China.

Standard is one of the world's largest independent gas turbine engine and accessory overhaul companies. In addition to the PT6, the company services other Pratt and Whitney Canada, Rolls-Royce/Allison, AlliedSignal and General Electric engines.

With its headquarters in Winnipeg, Standard Aero employs more than 1,500 people around the world.
