STG Aerospace (Hall 3, E12) has added secure wireless control systems to its product portfolio.

STG, manufacturer of the SafTGlo photo-luminescent pathway marking system, believes that wireless systems have uses beyond In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) and airborne Internet connections. STG says safety-critical passenger cabin systems can also be wireless, offering significant savings in weight and maintenance costs.

Secure Control is a compact, low weight radio-distributed network using ultra low-power spread spectrum techniques. Spread spectrum uses ultra fast frequency hopping and other techniques that are almost impossible to eavesdrop upon or jam.
