Transavia pilots have overwhelmingly voted to support a draft agreement regarding the development of the airline in co-operation with Air France.
The draft deal had been the subject of a 12 September referendum for the Transavia division of French pilots’ union SNPL.
Voting ended on 30 September and the union says members have voted almost 91% in favour, with a participation level of nearly 83%.
“This participation rate illustrates, unambiguously, the willingness of Transavia’s pilots to become involved in the future of the group,” the union adds.
It says Transavia pilots have, as a result, approved the carrier’s full involvement in the development of medium-haul services within Air France-KLM Group.
