The second batch of Sukhoi Su-30MK fighters for India, comprising 10 aircraft, is awaiting shipment authorisation from the Russian Government - likely to take place shortly, according to officials at the Irkutsk factory, where the aircraft are built. They will eventually be upgraded to MKI standard, with new avionics and thrust-vectoring engines.
