Airbus has commenced production of the first corporate version of the re-engined A320neo.
It states that final assembly of the aircraft, bound for UK-based Acropolis Aviation, will commence in June.
Airbus aims to deliver the aircraft to the operator in the fourth quarter of 2018.
Acropolis launched the ACJ320neo corporate jet version of the A320neo in 2015, and selected the CFM International Leap-1A engine for the aircraft last year.
Airbus says the delivery to Acropolis, based at Farnborough, will involve handing over a "green" aircraft. A second ACJ320neo will follow before the end of the year.
Nine ACJ320neo-family aircraft have been ordered, of which three are the smaller ACJ319neo variant.
Airbus is aiming to deliver the first ACJ319neo to Germany's K5 Aviation in the second quarter of next year.
