Taiwanese maintenance, repair and overhaul firm Evergreen Aviation Technologies (EGAT) has secured new contracts with Asiana Airlines and Vietnam Airlines.
EGAT says in a statement it has signed an agreement to provide Vietnam Airlines with heavy maintenance checks as well as interior modification and upgrade services for Vietnam Airlines Boeing 777-200ERs.
It says on 1 July it will commence work on the first of four 777-200ERs.
Vietnam Airlines is an existing customer, says EGAT, adding that it has provided services for the Vietnamese carrier's Airbus A330s and Boeing 767s.
EGAT says in a separate statement it has strengthened its relationship with Asiana Airlines.
It says "EGAT and Asiana inked a five-year service agreement on V2500-A5 engine support."
"The partnership between EGAT and Asiana has spanned almost a decade" and has covered aircraft types such as Airbus A320s, Airbus A330s, Boeing 767s and Boeing 747s, it says.
According to Flight's ACAS database Asiana has 24 A320-family aircraft, all-powered by International Aero Engine V2500s.
