Sun Country Airlines has received the first of eight new Boeing 737s, an -800 that it has acquired on lease from International Lease Finance (ILFC) over the next 15 months. Sun Country will be taking six 737-800s and one 737-700 this year with an additional 737-700 arriving in March 2002. The Minnesota, US-based airline operates charter services to destinations in Florida, Mexico, the Caribbean, South west United States and Las Vegas. It also flies scheduled services to more 30 destinations.
