TAM's fourth Airbus A350 will be delivered in the airline's parent LATAM Airlines Group's new livery, although the aircraft might not necessarily be the first aircraft to bear the new colours.
The fourth A350 will likely be delivered in June and will go into operation in July, says TAM's A350 project leader Gregori Daminelli.
TAM has taken delivery of two A350s since December 2015 and plans to end 2016 with seven in its fleet.
LATAM announced last year a new branding for the group's airlines, following the merger between LAN and TAM that closed in 2012.
The Santiago-based airline group has unveiled a new logo and branding, but has yet to release details of its new livery or crew uniforms. LATAM has so far remained silent on when the livery will be unveiled or which aircraft will debut in the new colours.
LATAM's senior director of investor relations Gisela Escobar said in an earnings call earlier this month that the rebranding process will "accelerate" in the second quarter of this year.
The airline has so far only rolled out changes to the branding of LAN and TAM's frequent flyer programmes, replacing the names of the respective carriers with LATAM.
Escobar said earlier this month that airline employees were trying out new uniforms, but cautioned that this was still in a "trial stage".
LATAM has said it hopes to have the new livery on its entire fleet of more than 300 aircraft in 2018.
