Thai Airways International's new business plan to improve competitiveness, cut costs and increase efficiency was unanimously approved by the airline's board on 25 July. The move follows the cabinet's 24 July endorsement of a five-year plan for Thai to focus on premium class passengers, reduce aircraft and engine types and increase fleet utilisation.
