Thai Airways signed a 15-year maintenance and inventory support contract with Airbus for its future A380 fleet.
The contract, which falls under the airframer's "Flight Hour Services" programme, covers supply and repair of line replaceable units as well as other components. It also includes auxiliary power unit and engine nacelle support, as well as providing tools and logistics services.
Airbus will establish an on-site team at the airline's base in Bangkok as part of the agreement.
Thai Airways is to take delivery of the first of six ordered A380s in the third quarter of this year. The aircraft will be deployed on European routes.
