Swinging into action is Timet marketing director Jean Pignier. Timet, one of the world's largest manufacturers of titanium products, has a range of applications on show. Along with the golf clubs there is a lightweight bicycle frame, chain mail and impressive pictures of the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, Spain. The museum, which opens in July, is clad entirely in titanium.
Some 70% of Timet's titanium production is used in the aerospace industry, mainly in engine production. But titanium is finding its way into an ever-increasing number of other applications.
Anyone wanting to practice their swing can find Timet at Hall 5/F10.
