The Spanish Ministry of Agriculture, Fishing and Food has bought a third EADS Casa C212-400 maritime patrol aircraft for delivery in early 2003. The additional C212 will allow one aircraft to patrol each of the three Spanish maritime zones - the Spanish Atlantic coast, the Balearic Islands and the Canary Islands - which are currently patrolled by two C212s on rotation.
